Classic´s Minna Korhonen: Experience and youth is an asset — 18.09.2012

SC Classic´s national team player Minna Korhonen comments on the best team structure to reach success in the upcoming Champions Cup.

SC Classic has a lot of experience but also a bunch of younger talented players. Is this the best mixture to win championships?
- I think we have a good mix of experience and young talent in our team. The older and more experienced players get an extra boost and may learn new tricks from the younger players. In turn the young players can learn a lot and get support from the older players as for some girls these are their first international games. So yes, it is the best mixture!

You have lost one of your best players, Katri Luomaniemi, to Switzerland. Have you found some good replacers?

- Yes, we lost one of our most important and skillful players to Switzerland but our team is still strong and I´m sure our younger players will step up and improve as they get more responsibility. I think it gives more opportunities for our junior players.

Which are the best floorball memories so far during your career?
- My best memories so far are from my own junior years. Mynis and team SBS Wirmo. My floorball career started in a small town and hopefully it will also end there some day.
