Friendly Internationals

Friendly International matches are either Internationals played between national teams of the member Associations of IFF or Club matches played between club teams representing the highest league from at least two different nations.

Matches between National Teams
IFF member Associations must inform the IFF always when organising Internationals between national teams. All planned and played Internationals are found under Internationals. The organiser shall use the IFF Form Information form for International Matches and Request of Referees. The Information form shall be sent to the IFF no later than 2 months prior to the matches. There is a sanction fee of 100 CHF for late incoming Information forms.

International Club Tournaments
Club tournaments involving club teams from the highest division of at least two different IFF member associations are International Elite Club Tournaments. All International Elite Club Tournaments must be informed to IFF by the organiser / member association of the organiser with the IFF form Information of International Club Tournament at least 30 days before the tournament.

All International Elite Club Tournaments are published on the IFF list of International Club Tournaments with mark "Elite". Read more about participation to an International Elite Club Tournament.

Also other International Club Tournaments (for lower division adult teams, juniors or veterans) can be informed to IFF with form Information of International Club Tournament. All informed tournaments are published on the list of International Club Tournaments.

IFF International weekends
IFF has four international weekends every year. According to IFF Regulations for Friendly International Matches, the players shall be freed for participation in their respective national teams on Wednesday at noon, to be present in the team concerned, for Friendly Internationals during IFF International weekends.
