USA beats Canada in North American derby – 04.12.2016

USA dominated the game against Canada and took a victory.

North American derby began with an open floorball battle. It took USA team 6 minutes to score their first goal, which turned out to be one of the many. By the end of the first period they were in a 3-0 lead, and two of the assist were earned by Robin Brown.

The second period didn´t change the fact that USA came here to win, although unexpectedly Canada got their first goal of the game, and the score was 3-1. A little over two minutes later the United States made it 4-1 and then scored two goals just a few minutes apart, hurting Canada´s chances of a comeback.

The last period began with Canada switching goalies, Retta-Ship came out and Benjamin Amdur went between the goal posts. That was no help as USA scored just 46 seconds into the period by William Eriksson who also scored his second goal of the game and thus the final score was 8-1 for team USA. Unfortunately there was a loss in their victory, as one of their players twisted his ankle and had to be helped off to the locker room by team staff.
