Asser Jääskeläinen to FC Helsingborg – 14.02.2014

FC Helsingborg informs that the defender Asser Jääskeläinen (24) who currently plays for the Finnish Floorball League top team, Classic, will represent FCH next season.

Jääskeläinen is an offensively skilful defender who is good at passing and has a great shot. He works hard for reaching a regular place in the Finnish national team and we hope that we can help him to take the last step, FCH´s manager Kent Göransson comments.

Asser Jääskeläinen has collected 16 points (7+9) in 21 Salibandyliiga matches this season.
 – I love to play with the ball and to create scoring chances for myself and my teammates. Sometimes I play with very small margins, which seems to be more appreciated by the spectators than my coaches, Jääskeläinen laughs in FCH´s interview.

Jääskeläinen has played nine internationals and he played in the Euro Floorball Tour in November, where he was selected best player of the Finnish team in the match against Sweden. He has also played one season in the Swiss League and is now ready for another international adventure:
 – After I visited the city, the arena, the team and the club, it was an easy decision to sign the contract. In my mind FCH is one of the world´s leading clubs in many aspects and now I hope that I can help to make this happen also on the court. My goal has always been to play in Sweden and I really look forward to the next season, Asser Jääskeläinen concludes.

Asser Jääskeläinen will play with number 65 in FCH.
