Jan Nordli passed away – 06.03.2017
It is with great sadness that the International Floorball Federation has learnt of the death of Mr. Jan Nordli, at the age of 77.
Mr.Nordli was a member of the IFF Referee Committee from 2006 to 2012 and was an International Referee observer from 2004-2012. After retiring from the RC and from the observer work he still continued to work with the referees in Norway and also with the IFF referee development group in order to educate the referees eventually to reach the level of international referees.
- Mr. Nordli was a very good example of a person, who is committed to his work and his contribution to the whole Floorball family was enormous, says Mr. John Liljelund, the Secretary General of the IFF.
Mr. Nordli’s background in refereeing was originally in Handball, but he was able to adjust the learnings easily to Floorball and his part of educating referees in his home country Norway was very vast.
