Invitation to IFF Floorball Development Seminar in Hungary – 17.02.2017
The next Floorball Development Programme Seminar will be organised by the IFF, in co-operation with Hungarian Floorball Federation (HFF). The seminar will be held at the Batthyani Sports School in the city of Erd, near Budapest from Friday the 2nd to Sunday the 4th of June 2017.
The seminar is built on the “Train the Trainer”-approach, including three different blocks, one for Coaching, one for Refereeing and one for Good Governance These three different blocks are all aiming to give additional knowledge and support in these fields to the participating federations and persons interested to increase their knowledge of Floorball. All the blocks are carried out as Level 2 education, which is more advanced than the Basic courses.
The seminar is directed to give more advanced insight in different issues for the persons running trainings, competitions and/or forming federation’s/clubs or planning to form one and also to open up more the work of the centrak boards of the national associations. The coaching course is meant for persons with an already existing coaching experience on either as a club and/or a playing coaches and persons interested in coach instructing on a higher level and the refereeing part is for persons refereeing and responsible for referee education, nomination and observing.
The course consists of a combination of theoretical lectures, practical training sessions, group works and hand-on training and match observation during three days.
The IFF has built a course material, consisting of lectures, practical rehearsals and instructions, which are all in English. All the participants to this course will receive the educational material from the course.
