Sweden’s Men’s national team captain Johan Samuelsson will not be seen in the SSL next season. Granlo BK will relegate to first division and 27-year-old Samuelsson is transferring to Switzerland together with his teammate and brother, Anton Samuelsson.

Johan Samuelsson said that transferring to Switzerland was a quick decision and there were only two places he could imagine playing. Now he has signed a two year contract with NLA team Tigers Langnau.
- It’s a good contract, but not a Kim Nilsson-contract, says Johansson while laughing and continues
- It’s not about having an X number of zeroes on the bank account. It’s not that different to Sweden anymore. The Swedish clubs have started to pay more. Ever since I started to play floorball, I have always wanted to play in Switzerland. So I’m going there for the adventure.

Samuelsson was the ninth scoring leader in SSL with 48 points, including 16 goals. During the two seasons in Switzerland, he sees a chance to become an even better scorer:
- The game is more dynamic in Switzerland when compared to Sweden’s static game. It’s going to be beneficial for me to play this coast to coast game. I need to develop my skills in the attacking zone and will need to be more selfish, because I believe I will have more goal scoring chances there.

Samuelsson’s goal with the team is clear:
- To help Tigers fill the trophy cabinet.
