New Athletes´ Commission Election System

Starting from 2016, the Athletes’ Commission Members will be elected for a term of 4 years. elections. To implement this new system completely, a progressive change-over system will be used:

Male ATC Elections
During WFC 2016 (December 2016), four male representatives will be elected by the players from the participating teams at WFC 2016. These players will be elected to the ATC for the following term: 1st January 2017 – 28th February 2020. Elections for the male representative for the next term will be held during the Men’s WFC Qualifications held in February 2020. Once elected, the term of these ATC members will be 1st March 2020 – 28th February 2024.

Female ATC Elections
The next elections for the female representative for the ATC will be held during the Women’s WFC Qualifications held in February 2017. Once elected, the term of these ATC members will be 1st March 2017– 28th February 2021.
