Floorball in 61st Indian National School Games – 28.01.2016

The National School Games are held annually in India and consist of many different sports, floorball being one of the sports on the programme.

This was the 61st edition of the National School Games organised in India and floorball was taking part in the School Games for the third time in a row. The whole event took place January 2nd to 9th 2016. The Floorball tournament lasted three days and all the games were played in the Yuvashakti Model School, Sector- 3 Rohini, Delhi.

Dr. Prabhat Kumar, the President of the Indian Floorball Federation (InFF) also attended the event.

- In this breath taking tournament we witnessed the growing popularity of the game and also heard positive feedback about the sport and the event from the players, says Pradeep Singh the General Secretary of InFF.

The National School Games are organised by the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) under the Ministry of Sports in India, with the help of the Department of Education and Sports.
