Swedish Floorball Federation continues cooperation with TV4 — 17.08.2012
The cooperation has a much higher international focus than before and means that TV4 will act as host broadcaster for the Men’s WFC 2014 played in Gothenburg, Sweden. - Both Swedish Floorball and TV4 are fully confident that we can develop Floorball as a TV sport together and by doing that are able at the same time to increase not only the visibility but also the interest for the Swedish Superleague (SSL) and the Swedish National teams. This already now makes it quite nice to look forward to what we can achieve together in relation to the WFC 2014 in Gothenburg, says Mr. Göran Harnesk, secretary general of the Swedish Floorball Federation. - It is very delightful that the TV4 group has reached an agreement with Swedish Floorball of a continuous cooperation. We will together make an international investment, where more focus is directed towards the international scene. It will be very interesting to follow the international championships and both the national and international development of the sport, Ms. Elin Ahnberg program director, TV4 Sport and TV4 Extra, comments. The agreement includes a minimum of 25 televised games per season, which will be broadcast on the TV4 Sport channel and on TV4 Play. The SSL finals will be broadcast io the main channel of TV4 on Saturday the 13th of April 2013. - IFF can only congratulate the Swedish Federation for securing a continued TV deal and especially the commitment of a larger focus on international matches; it will clearly help Floorball internationally to reach further. IFF is already looking forward to start discussions concerning the broadcast from the WFC 2012 in Switzerland, says John Liljelund IFF secretary general. Source & more information: www.innebandy.se |
