Invitation to the IFF Competition seminar 2012 — 11.05.2012

The IFF Rules and Competition Committee (RACC) is organising a Competition Seminar 17th – 19th August 2012, in connection with the Czech Open in Prague, and the IFF is pleased to invite all of our Member Associations to participate.

 

SEMINAR AIM
The main aim of this seminar is to improve the cooperation of all Associations during the preparation of IFF events and also to improve the knowledge of, and reason for, the many different requirements and regulations of IFF events.

SEMINAR STUCTURE
The idea is that Member Associations would be able to discuss with other Members about the preparations and participation in IFF events, and then be given the opportunity to present their ideas and recommendations about these events to the IFF.

The planned major topics of discussion will be:
• Adult WFCs – structure, development & organisation
• U19 WFCs – structure, development & organisation
• Cooperation between the IFF and National team organisers

In addition, the IFF will also present information about:
• IFF ranking system
• Quota systems for WFC Qualifications
• National team requirements before IFF events – timelines & information required

Participation will mainly be in the form of group work to discuss what is good and bad about the current structure and organisation of WFC events and what suggestions Associations have to adjust them.
 
The participants should be persons in the Associations who are responsible for national teams – in the preparation of the team information prior to participation in an event and/or active in the management of the team during an event.

PARTICIPATION
Each Member Association can have two (2) participants at the Competition Seminar.

FIRST PARTICIPANT COST: 50 euros   
Registration cost of 50 euros, to be paid by the National Association.
Accommodation and meals for Friday 17th –  Sunday 19th August will be paid by the IFF
 
SECOND PARTICIPANT COST: 194 euros
All costs for the second participant – registration, accommodation and meals – must be paid by the participant’s National Association.
 Inclusions for every participant:
- Seminar registration and materials
- Accommodation at Hotel Clarion Congress 17-19 August, single room occupancy
- Breakfast and Lunch on Saturday & Sunday
- Dinner on Friday & Saturday
- Czech Open VIP ticket

REGISTRATION
Registration to participate and receipt of payment must be received by the IFF no later than 15th June 2012. Please complete the enclosed application form and return it to the IFF, along with receipt of payment, via email or fax, to:
