IKSU once again celebrating a Champions Cup win! – 04.01.2019

IKSU can once again celebrate winning Champions Cup after there 8-3 win against Vitkovice. - I will have to pinch myself when I get home, says Cornelia Fjellstedt.

Final day of the Champions Cup in Gävle and IKSU stand as the Winners of the womens final in Gävle. After winning their semifinal against Swiss Piranha Chur yesterday IKSU faced Czech Vitkovice in the final. And - at the start - it was a much closer game than the semifinal.

IKSU had the lead through the game, but it wasn´t until the second half of the game IKSU could secure the win. Vera Kauppi scored a hattrick and took IKSU from a 4-3 lead to the final 8-3, the 7th goal scored by Emelie Wibron.

Czech Team Vitkovice played well and gave IKSU a great match. They celebrated the silver after the game. Czech captain Alzbeta Durikova about the game:
